The Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development undertakes to:<\/p>\n

  1. respond to communication from institutions and other stakeholders within two weeks;<\/li>\n
  2. disseminate policy documents to institutions within one week of approval by Head of Ministry;<\/li>\n
  3. ensure filling of designated posts in universities and at ZIMCHE within three months of the posts falling vacant;<\/li>\n
  4. ensure release of UNESCO funds to approved projects within one week of receipt of funds;<\/li>\n
  5. develop and review TVET curricula every four years or in response to changes in industry and commerce;<\/li>\n
  6. register, license and monitor independent colleges within one month of date of submission of all required documents and payment of the application and inspection fee;<\/li>\n
  7. monitor independent colleges on a regular basis; and<\/li>\n
