The Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development undertakes to:
- respond to communication from institutions and other stakeholders within two weeks;
- disseminate policy documents to institutions within one week of approval by Head of Ministry;
- ensure filling of designated posts in universities and at ZIMCHE within three months of the posts falling vacant;
- ensure release of UNESCO funds to approved projects within one week of receipt of funds;
- develop and review TVET curricula every four years or in response to changes in industry and commerce;
- register, license and monitor independent colleges within one month of date of submission of all required documents and payment of the application and inspection fee;
- monitor independent colleges on a regular basis; and
